VAR, a company with over a decade of experience in the Real Estate sector, has been instrumental in various projects.

 

In 2012, VAR collaborated with Davidson Kempner, a prominent global hedge fund. They worked on public companies such as Elbit Imaging, Plaza Centers, and Africa Israel, managing a substantial portfolio of over $5 billion in global Real Estate. This portfolio encompassed hotels, residential, and commercial properties located in various locations. Mr. Kfir held various positions within Plaza, including Executive Chairman of the Board, Board member in Elbit Imaging, and creditor’s committee member.

 

In 2016, VAR partnered with two prominent US funds on Hellas Capital Leasing in Greece. This partnership involved managing a $600 million Greek Real Estate portfolio that included hotel and commercial properties.

 

Since 2019, VAR has been actively involved in Greece’s Real Estate market, investing and developing in residential, parking, and hotel sectors.

 

VAR has demonstrated expertise in acquiring Real Estate properties and Non Performing Loans backed by Real Estate properties. They have executed an added value-oriented approach, resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes for the lenders, equity owners, VAR, and its investors.

 

In 2025, VAR entered into a joint venture with one of the world’s largest financial institutions. The objective of this JV is to acquire parking properties, aiming to generate gross assets of $1 billion.
